The IPCA currently has the following slide shows available for rental:

Illuminating a Medium: A Retrospective on Polymer Clay

This slide show was assembled to represent the June, 2001 exhibition, "Illuminating a Medium", that was displayed at Bryn Mawr College during the Courting the Muse conference held by the National Polymer Clay Guild. A committee assembled the original show. Due to limitations of accessibility and time, the show was never intended to be a complete documentation of the evolution of polymer clay as an art form, but it does present a wide range of work. Almost everything that was exhibited at Bryn Mawr is represented in the slide show. Some additional images were been added, when needed, in order to better exemplify an artist's work. A select number of substitutions of a comparable pieces by the same artist were made when photographic documentation of the actual work presented in the exhibition was unavailable.

Individual Evolution in Polymer Clay: Five of the Best

This presentation showcases the work of four individual polymer clay artists: Celie Fago, Gwen Gibson, Victoria Hughes and Cynthia Toops, and one artist-team: Stephen Ford and David Forlano. These six artists were invited to participate in this show because of the excellence of their cumulative bodies of work and the importance of their contributions to the advancement of polymer clay as an artistic medium over a period of many years. The National Polymer Clay Guild plans to recognize other artists in this category in future shows.

Contributors to this show were asked to provide approximately 20 slides and text describing:

  1. their studio/work environment,
  2. important influences on their work,
  3. different stages in their evolution as artists.

2 trays. Actual number of slides provided ranged from 18-39. All slides submitted by the artists have been included in the show
