Mixed Media Mosaic Icons

Please join us for an intensive, technique driven workshop creating mixed media mosaics using polymer clay. In creating our “Icons”, students will learn a variety of overlapping techniques that include: mosaic design, painting, rubber stamping, collage, embossing, beading, and embedding just about anything into polymer clay.  The result will be a personal and beautiful icon that can be hung on the wall or displayed on a plate stand. Techniques learned in this class can also be used to make jewelry. 

This will be a hands-on workshop where students will get the experience of making and baking their own tiles and component parts. No previous clay experience is required, so come join the fun!
