Ready, Set...VOTE! Print E-mail

logo1bw.jpgWell, it's not quite time to vote...but the polls open in just a few days on November 1st.  Members will receive an email "voting link" and will have until November 14th to respond to it.  In order to ensure receipt of the voting link, all members are encouraged to add all e-mail addresses coming from the npcg.org to their 'safe senders' list if they have not already done so.  Don't forget to read the nominee questionnaires before voting...they will help you feel like you already know your future board members.  After voting, be sure to keep an eye on the website - election results will be posted November 21st.

This year marks a very special election, as in addition to voting for Board officers, members will also be voting on a new logo.

logo3bw.jpgAs you may recall, the Change Is In The Air article outlined the boards desire for our organization name to more accurately reflect our membership.  On October 8th, the Board unanimously voted to rename the National Polymer Clay Guild (NPCG) to the International Polymer Clay Association (IPCA).

logo2bw.jpgAt that point we looked to our membership for the development of a new logo, and were thrilled with the response.  In this election, you will have the opportunity to vote for one of three logos designed by Bettina Welker of Germany.  The logos are shown in grayscale for voting purposes, but Bettina has provided multiple color schemes for us.  As polymer artists we do love our color, so expect to see the logo colors change once in awhile.  Perhaps with the change of seasons, or for a special occasion...or just because!

Sincere thanks go not only to Bettina for her graphic design efforts, but also to each candidate in this years' election.  Their willingness to devote time and energy in support of the IPCA is truly appreciated!
