There will be no cost to the selected artists for the booth space. Each artist will be responsible for their own transportation to and from the venue, for individual accommodations, meals and all needed display materials. Mentoring will be offered; selected artists will be expected to work together so all ACRE deadlines are met and the booth has a cohesive look. To apply to ACREs of Opportunity, visit CaFE, http://www.callforentry.org/ and submit your application. You are required to upload five digital images as part of your application. The information about the image format and size can be found on the CaFE site. The fee for entry is $35. Deadline is September 10, 2008. Notification will be sent out by the end of October. This competition is open only to members of the National Polymer Clay Guild. If you aren't already a member, it's not too late, sign up now! The work to be exhibited and sold at the show must be made predominantly from polymer clay. ACREs of Opportunity is limited to US and Canadian residents only based on the guidelines set forth by The American Craft Retailers Expo. The NPCG is in search of a venue that would give us the ability to offer similar opportunities for all international members in the near future.
