Meet the Cyprus Polymer Clay Association (CYPCA)

Cyprus is the Mediterranean's third largest island, attracting over 2.4 million tourists per year. Known as the mythical birthplace of Aphrodite, the goddess of love and beauty, it is also home to the newly founded Cyprus Polymer Clay Association (CYPCA)...an organization of clayers happily merging modern art with ancient history.

As I prepare to hand over the reins to incoming IPCA President Suzanne Ivester, the events of the past two years are very much on my mind.  It has been a wonderful time, filled with new ideas, opportunities and direction for our community.  I am proud that we were able to accomplish many of our goals, and I have great confidence that the momentum will continue in the capable hands of Suzanne and the new Board.

Before I officially hand those reins over, I’d like to take the opportunity to thank everyone who has contributed to the accomplishments of the past two years.  I can’t tell you how many times people have conveyed to me their appreciation for the work that Board members have done in furthering the mission of the IPCA.  These members have been a joy to work with and I want to take this time to publicly thank them for their time and talents.
