“Live your life each day as you would climb a mountain.
An occasional glance toward the summit keeps the goal in mind, but many beautiful scenes are to be observed from each new vantage point.
Climb slowly, steadily, enjoying each passing moment; and the view from the summit will serve as a fitting climax for the journey. “

Progress and Possibilities

2006-08catalog.jpgI'm very excited to be involved in our fourth Progress & Possibilities Juried Exhibition. This will be the first competition since the NPCG became the IPCA and celebrated our international members!

For newcomers to polymer clay or the IPCA, here's some background: Artists submit work as digital images to be judged by an appointed panel including polymer clay artists and fine-craft professionals.  We have an outstanding gallery of 2008 finalists and winners on the website, plus a truly gorgeous retrospective catalogue available for purchase announcement

Finalists and winners for 2010 will be announced at the end of May.

54 reasons to add this Catalog to your Library
IPCA News

coverdraftsm.jpegThe Synergy Exhibit Catalog is a beautiful documentation of polymer arts as of 2009-2010 reflecting upon the theme Exploring Connections. 54 High quality images are planned to fill each page of this catalog. The images allow us to study the work. Reflections of motivation, skill and materials are creative infusions in our lives. I have always been a book buyer. I am a visual artist and having books all over my home allows me to spend moments throughout my day appreciating color, line and technique in a range of arts.

4 Days and Counting!
General Information

logosqd.jpgThe countdown clock for NASA is exciting, but the countdown to Synergy2 in Baltimore is just as thrilling! Only 16 days remain until the Synergy2 conference kicks off at the Tremont Grand Hotel in historic Baltimore.  It's not too late to spend that bit of rainy-day mad money and explore connections between art, artists and communities with over 200 artists from eight countries.

The events will kick off on Wednesday night, February 24 with a presentation by lifetime IPCA members Ford/Forlano as they talk about their 20+ years of collaboration. We'll then celebrate the 20th anniversary of the IPCA (NPCG) together with a special creation from Charm City Cakes , well-known from their Food Network show, Ace of Cakes.

Read more about the upcoming events on the Synergy2 Web site .
