Call for Proposals - IPCA pre-Retreat Classes |

IPCA Retreat
|
|
The
International Polymer Clay Association (IPCA) is now accepting class
proposals for their 2011 Retreat, to be held in Bloomingdale, IL
(metro Chicago). The
dates of the classes will be July 11, 12, and 13 and the Retreat will
take place July 14, 15, and most of July 16th.
The Retreat and classes will be concurrent with the Metal Clay
World Conference (MCWC) and their pre-Conference classes being held
at the Hilton Indian Lakes Resort.
The
IPCA is interested in class proposals from individuals outside our
community as well as those who work exclusively with polymer clay.

agreement below for complete information.

The Pittsburgh Polymer Clay Guild cordially invites you to join us for our
8th Annual Pittsburgh Polymer Clay Retreat
October 22-24, 2010
We will be at Lutherlyn in Prospect, Pa. Lutherlyn is a year- round retreat center on 640 scenic acres with two lakes, 17 miles of trails, and comfortable accommodations. A short walk from the A-frame cabin accommodations, our work space will be in a well lit dining hall open 24 hours. We have also reserved a fireside room. Nottingham Castle Gate by Ethan Nicholls
At the end of June it was with great
pleasure that I took part in Helen Cox's Polymer Play Days in
Nottingham, England. For me, it was a special event, because my own
polymer clay journey truly began at Helen's event in 2008, and led
to my involvement with IPCA. Like many, I began my relationship with
Polymer in 2006 by working from books I found on Amazon.com, and from
the Internet. Back then, I didn't know how big the Polymer movement
was in the US and I was totally unaware of the phenomenal UK and EU
interest.
